3 Arrows is the symbol of the Iron Front, a German malita group (as they had many at the time). The arrows represented the Social Democrats' opposition to aristocratic conservatism, Nazism, and Communism, all of which where vying for power in the Weimar system. The symbol was designed like that as it could easily cover the swastika and each arrow represents taking down nazism, communism and monarchism.
